3D printed keycaps:
we create a 3D design on the computer for our chonkycap design. then we print it using our 3D resin printer. once it’s cured, we go through a vetting process to select only the best keycaps that pass quality-check! then we sand the bottoms, prime the keycaps, paint them with select colors, and finish with a matte varnish. by using a 3D printer, we can duplicate designs more consistently and reduce burnout in the artist!polymer keycaps:
we use fimo polymer clay in different colors to create the design and bake it as instructed. if there are many details, we work in sections: base layer, belly, arms, legs, facial features, etc. we fix up mistakes or clean up with rubbing alcohol or acetone and sand it down smooth. then we use uv resin to reinforce the keycap and make it look complete! a lot of hard work goes into each keycap and everything is handmade aside from the pbt keycap itself.
3d printed keycaps:
we use TinkerCad to develop the online 3d printed model. the keycaps are printed on a resin printer: Elegoo Mars 3 Pro is the one we use. it allows for smaller, accurate designs! for prep and details, we use primer, acrylic paints and paint pens, and finish with a matte resin.polymer clay keycaps:
we use polymer clay, liquid polymer clay, blank pbt keycaps, clay sculpting tools, exacto knives, sandpaper, pasta machine, alligator clamps, pointed cotton swabs, rubbing alcohol/acetone, uv resin, uv light, polyurethane varnish, and lots and lots of practice (˃̣̣̥⌓˂̣̣̥ )
3d printed keycaps:
each keycap is printed and tested to fit. some keycaps tend to fit more snug than others but they should all fit onto a typical keyboard within our specifications of an mx switch or “+” switches.polymer clay keycaps:
since these are handmade, we put polymer clay on top of an existing blank pbt keycap. although we are working to make the keycap as thin as possible, the layers of clay, resin, and varnish do add bulk to the sides of the keycap. we test each keycap but some do turn out chonkier than others.
feel free to dm us on instagram or tiktok to suggest any ideas for future designs! however, please understand that we may or may not get to your design idea. commissions are really the only way to guarantee that we will make your design specifically for you. although commissions are not currently open, we may reopen them in the future! pls click on commissions on the home page for more info!

they're mainly sold through raffle sales! click on raffles on the home page for more info. we host giveaways, first-come-first serve sales, commissions, and very rarely, fulfillment sales where everyone who enters will purchase and receive a keycap!

based on complexity of design, hours spent, materials and supplies used, and the accumulation of knowledge to make that keycap the best we can. we also seek to make the packaging a pleasant experience! it allows us to keep creating. thank you for supporting us, and even if you don't want to purchase anything, we hope you know that your likes, follows, saves, and shares are just as important.

use a dry or damp cloth to wipe down your keycap of any dust, lint, etc. do not use any solvents which could dissolve the protective cover. please treat them with care! although reinforced by resin, the details could break if handled roughly. if you treat them lovingly, you'll be able to enjoy them longer.
we try to mail out my packages 1-2 weeks after invoice payment, but there may be different factors that affect the process (e.g. delays, customs, wrong address). double check your addresses, keep an eye on your tracking numbers, and i will post updates on our instagram story about any changes on my end. feel free to message usabout any complications!
send us a dm on instagram or you can email us
